Sunderland will sign Tal Ben Haim on loan from Manchester City until the end of the season, reports the Daily Mail. The 26-year-old Israel international appears to have no future at Eastlands while Mark Hughes is still in charge.
Sunderland boss Ricky Sbragia was on the coaching staff at Bolton when Ben Haim was at the Reebok and is keen to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.
Ben Haim's agent Pini Zahavi said: "Tal had to move because he needs to play."
