A Manchester City XI fought back from an early deficit to defeat Altrincham 2-1.
The City side, which included Craig Bellamy and Nedum Onuoha, found themselves trailing after just two minutes when Damion Reeves put Altrincham ahead from the penalty spot.
However, City drew level in the 34th minute through Joan Angel Roman after he was set up by Bellamy, and they snatched the win when Kieran Trippier fired in a long-range shot just before the break.
