Craig Bellamy is delighted for Cardiff City fans over their Premier League promotion.

The former Liverpool and Manchester City striker says Bluebirds supporters deserve the experience.

"I'm so grateful our supporters are going to get the chance to see that now. they will see a huge difference," he told the Western Mail. "It's not like going to say Derby on a Wednesday night where there's no television.

"The Premier League has it all, music coming on, the roar. It's just what is involved. You are watched live, right across the world. Every game is just so big.

"In the Championship you just have to battle through sometimes, but in the Premier League everything is exciting. There's so many great players. Even teams not doing so well will have one or two top players who will excite you.

"The chance for our fans to go to away grounds and to host some of these players too, like Robin van Persie, at home. It's going to be great for everyone. That is what I'm really looking forward too."
