Belgium won't consider Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany for their upcoming friendlies.
City captain Kompany missed Tuesday's Champions League win against CSKA Moscow as he continues his fight against his latest troubling muscle injury.
The Daily Mail says Kompany will now continue his rehab at City's Carrington training ground rather than join up with his country for two friendly matches.
The Belgian FA have clashed with City over Kompany's welfare in recent times, falling out with former coach Roberto Mancini last season.
However, with Belgium having already qualified for next summer's World Cup, they have agreed to help City as they look to find a solution to Kompany's latest problem.
