Belgium confirm Man Utd striker Lukaku out of Bosnia clash

It has been confirmed that Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku will miss Belgium's clash against Bosnia on Saturday. The 24 year old Lukaku is currently on duty with the Belgium national team but has not been able to train due to injury.

It was feared that the in-form striker would be sidelined for some time after sustaining an ankle injury during a training session with United. However tests revealed that there were no fractures and he flew to Brussels to train with his team-mates.

Belgium team boss Roberto Martinez has cast doubts over the availability of Lukaku for Saturday's clash.

This will certainly be no major issue to the team as they have already qualified for the 2018 World Cup. The Belgians will need Lukaku to be as fit as possible for the World Cup next year as they attempt to have a deep run in the tournament and do well.
