Tottenham have been unsuccessful in their bid to sign Belgian teenager Axel Frix.
The Daily Mail reports that the 15-year old left-back has rejected a move to Spurs after trialling with the London club last week.
Frix, currently on the books at OH Leuven, was hoping for an opportunity under the youth-friendly policy of Tim Sherwood but is now expected to join Standard Liege as Spurs get set to bring in a new manager in the summer.
