Belgian fitness chiefs will visit Manchester City today to assess Vincent Kompany's groin injury.
The Telegraph says the Belgian Football Association is to send their national team physiotherapist, Lieven Maesschalck, to Manchester City on Friday in an effort to assess the extent of Kompany's groin problem.
Kompany, the City captain, has been omitted from the Belgium squad for the forthcoming friendly matches against Colombia and Japan after being sidelined for five weeks with the injury he sustained during the 3-1 victory over Everton on Oct 5.
Red Devils coach Marc Wilmots said: "We only play two friendlies next week, so it's good for him to have a good rest and that he recovers well to be on top with City again."
