Nine years after retiring from playing, former Scotland striker Duncan Ferguson has been granted a testimonial by his old club Everton.
Spanish club Villarreal will provide the opposition at Goodison Park on 2 August.
Ferguson had two spells with the Toffees between 1994-98 and 2000-06, and made 273 appearances in that time.
Ferguson, who scored 72 goals for the Blues, has since returned to Everton as a coach and was promoted from the Academy to become a member of Roberto Martinez's backroom staff last season.
