So what can I tell you about Mario Balotelli's move to Nice?

Nice is the perfect club for 'those' players. 'Those' players who have lost their way in their career. If Hatem Ben Arfa could succeed last year, I think any player can succeed. Even Balotelli.

I know Lucien Favre was not a very big fan of this target... If the player wants to play football, this club is perfect. They play good football, the lifestyle is unique, the weather is also perfect, it is very close to Italy. The question is in the other way...

Is Mario Balotelli still a football player? I really hope so, for all the fans. Here in France we have always compared him to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but Ibrahimovic is one of the most professional players we have seen in France.

And what about tactically?

They play a 4-3-3 and also a 4-2-3-1 formation. Those two systems are perfect for him. They have great players to supply him - especially with Younes Belhanda (who signed last minute), Vincent Koziello and Jean Seri. He will be in the best environment, no doubt.

DAVID LUIZ BACK TO CHELSEA

In this deal, there are three parts.

David Luiz was aware and it was clear where he stood. This season Marquinhos is the man next to Thiago Silva. That is why he was ready to leave and there was no question for him about it.

Then, there was PSG. They received a big offer for a player set to be a substitute. They have a promising player in Presnel Kimpembe behind, but it was a difficult debate for Nasser Al Khelaifi and Unai Emery. Nasser felt a deep attachment to David Luiz and Unai did not believe in the football player. I think money won.

And what about Chelsea?

To be honest, I have not understood their strategy for years. Hire Jose Mourinho, sack Mourinho, hire Mourinho again, sack Mourinho again. Take Nemanja Matic, sell Matic, take back Matic. Take Kevin de Bruyne, sell De Bruyne, try to take him back. And now the same for David Luiz.

David Luiz is not a good central defender and Chelsea know it, that is why he was number four in their hierarchy before coming to Paris. To play number 6 they already have Matic and N'Golo Kante. It is for me a desperate move after all their failing to take a serious centre-back. His sporting value is close to €15m, but I recognize he is a market star.

TOTTENHAM'S TWO NEW FRENCH STARS

Everybody knows Moussa Sissoko wants to play in the Champions League. That is the reason why he joined Tottenham and rejected Everton. Also, Inter Milan and Real Madrid were very interested, but the price was too high for them.

Madrid believe in Casemiro and Inter was obviously not ready to pay €40M.

Georges-Kevin N'Koudou is a winger who prefers to play left side. He is fast and technical. He has not a lot of experience but there is a possibility for him to succeed even this season. His elevation for now is very interesting. He is one of those players we do not know yet how high he can reach.
