Australian striker Joel Griffiths scored the winner for Beijing Guoan against Hangzhou Lucheng in the Chinese Super League last night.

The former Newcastle Jets man struck in the 63rd minute from the penalty spot to guide his side to a 2-1 victory over brother Adam who was in midfield for the losing team.

Adam, who was subbed off after 38 minutes, joined Hangzhou recently after a short stint with Adelaide United in the Asian Champions League.

Younger brother Ryan played no part for Beijing as they moved up to fourth on the table.
