Bournemouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovic says the club is proud of the number of players they have on the brink of World Cup qualification.

The Bosnia No1 is desperate to lead his nation to the Russian tournament next summer.

Begovic told the Daily Echo: “It shows how far this club has come. It's amazing and I am glad to be part of this journey now.

“I am hoping we can achieve many more great things in the next few years. I am excited about that.

“You can see the standard of players is very high. Hopefully, we can keep achieving and keep this club rising to the top."
