Begovic wants better Stoke results against lower clubs

Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has implored the club to concentrate on recording positive results against teams lower on the table.

The Potters have taken points from Tottenham and Manchester City in their past two matches with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, Spurs and City grafting a total of three points between them at the Britannia Stadium this season.

Begovic suggests that this form could be replicated when the team takes on the likes of Wigan Athletic, Wolves and Aston Villa in their next three outings to help improve their standing of 12th on the table.

"Against all the top sides at home we have done incredibly well and it is a game everyone gets up form," said Begovic.

"We just have to keep that consistency of performance against other teams as well and I am sure we will kick on in the table."
