Bee Taechaubol is dipping into his own fortune to buy into AC Milan.

Bee is fronting a consortium which will complete a purchase of 48 per cent of Milan in the first week of October.

Corriere della Sera says the Thai has been trying to drum up further investment since shaking hands on the deal with Milan president Silvio Berlusconi.

However, to make up the shortfall, Bee will pay a third of the price agreed to get the deal done.

Bee's group will be paying €485 million for a 48 per cent stake in the Rossoneri.
