Alejandro Bedoya has admitted to experiencing a frustrating debut season with Rangers.
The 25-year USA international midfielder arrived at Ibrox from Swedish club Orebro last summer but managed just 13 appearances for the Glasgow giants.
Bedoya told SunSport that at times he was irritated but is keen to remain with 'Gers and fight for a regular first team berth as well as getting his US spot back.
"The first disappointment came early on when we were knocked out of Europe by Malmo, a team I'd played against.
"From then on it was up and down for me personally.
"I struggled with injuries and couldn't get a place in the team.
"But sometimes in football you've got to go through trials and tribulations to emerge stronger through the other side.
"I don't want to go anywhere. I love it," he added.
"Rangers is more than a club in many ways. It's been tough but it would be the easy way out to leave.
"I think I can fight my way into the team and Rangers can be good for me and my career.
"I want to regain my spot in the USA team.""It was a frustrating season," he said.
