David Beckham was in the stands to watch his team the LA Galaxy take all three points in their season opener against New England Revolution on Saturday.
The 34-year old midfielder is out of action after rupturing his Achilles tendon which will keep him out of the World Cup but could still crack a smile as the Galaxy did the job at the Home Depot Center.
Beckham is reportedly wanted by two major TV stations to commentate on the World Cup in South Africa later this year, with BBC and ITV keen on his services.
