England legend David Beckham has officially retired after playing his final game for PSG.
Beckham's illustrious professional career has officially come to a close after he was left out of the Paris St Germain squad to play Lorient at the Stade du Moustoir on Sunday.
"I think his retirement is a huge loss for football, but I also understand his decision. He's a really nice guy," Zlatan Ibrahimovic told PSG's official website.
"I didn't know him personally before he signed for Paris but I have got to know him here. He has been a model of professionalism.
"We all wish him all the very best in the future and hope he stays in football in some capacity and shares all that experience.
"He has had an excellent career, without a doubt the envy of a lot of people."
