Beckham pens passionate open letter to AC Milan teammates, fans

David Beckham has penned an open letter to his AC Milan teammates after suffering his Achilles injury this week.

The on-loan LA Galaxy midfielder is out for the season after he tore his Achilles during Milan's 1-0 win against Chievo last Sunday.

Writing on the club's website, he said: "I want to wish everyone the best of luck and to say I hope they win the title.

"I would also like to thank you all for your support after the Chievo match.

"I hope to play with you again and be part of this marvellous club."
