LA Galaxy star David Beckham's move to MLS has been described as the most definitive 'Celebrity Moment of the Decade', according to Heat magazine. Iconic couple David and Victoria Beckham shifted bag and baggage from their Madrid home to the United States in June 2007 after David signed a multi-million pound deal to play for soccer team LA Galaxy.

"The noughties were the decade that fame built. Reality TV was born and suddenly anyone could be a celebrity," Heat editor, Sam Delaney said.

"Singers had their lives changed by the public vote and unknowns entered houses full of cameras and emerged to crowds screaming their names. Celebrities invited us into their homes and families and laid their lives bare for the sake television - but for us there could only be one couple to define celebrity in the noughties and that's the Beckhams."
