Manchester United legend David Beckham has claimed that the Red Devils will never experience a trophy drought like that of their arch rivals Liverpool.
The Reds' last league title came in 1990 and since then their only major trophy is the 2004-05 Champions League title.
Of that drought, Beckham said: "I can't see that happening to Manchester United.
"I never think we'll not be in contention to win trophies. There's too much history.
"Obviously, you have to stay on the ball with that. But there's too much embedded into this club to let it slip away like that."
