David Beckham says he will not make a decision on his playing future until after the current MLS season.
The LA Galaxy have made a contract extension offer to the former England midfielder but he says he will wait until the 2011 campaign, which sees the Galaxy sitting on top of the table, is over.
"I'm happy here and I've spoken with Tim (Leiwecke, owner of Galaxy) about a new deal," he said.
"Tim knows how I need to wait until the end of the season here and then I'll look at it."
Beckham has been linked with a return to the English Premier League with London clubs Tottenham Hotspur and QPR both showing considerable interest.
