Beckham jumps to defence of Arsenal's Walcott

LA Galaxy star David Beckham says Arsenal winger Theo Walcott will bounce back from being hooked at halftime of England's 4-0 win in Kazakhstan.

Becks said: "Theo's performed well every time he's put on an England shirt. A player of his pace and the way he goes at players and goes past players, he's always a threat.

"He's a talented player. I've not seen too many of his Arsenal games but I don't care what anyone says about his form.

"He's going to be a threat to any defender in the world. Whether he's in form or not he'll be a threat to any player. It's not about arrogance, it's a case of being himself. He's a great person, a great player and he's fine."
