Los Angeles Galaxy ace David Beckham says he never considered quitting MLS when booed by his own fans earlier this season. The 34-year-old England midfielder is back in favour with Galaxy fans after leading his side to Sunday's MLS Cup final against Real Salt Lake.
"No, not at all, never," Beckham replied when asked if he had considered returning to Europe permanently.
"I always committed myself to the MLS, the Galaxy owner and the franchise. I always said I would see it through."
Beckham missed the first half of the MLS season after extending his stay at AC Milan, and on his return, found sections of the home fans at the Home Depot Center had turned against him.
But ahead of Sunday's final, Beckham said: "There's never a smooth road. There are always a few bumps along the way and there has been.
"But that's kind of been my career. There have always been ups and downs - more ups than downs but that's the way it is, that's life."
