Beckham has no doubts over America decision

David Beckham still stands-by his decision over moving to America ahead of seeing out his career in Europe. The former England skipper is currently plying his trade with Los Angeles Galaxy and insists he is still happy in the United States with his current contract ending at the end of the MLS season.

"I have no regrets," he told Sky Sports News.

"Not one about wherever I have played and whatever I have done, I don't think you can live your life like that.

"I always have to be sure about the decisions I have made. People may think it was the wrong decision for me to move over to America but I am fully confident with the decision I made.

"I was successful in Europe for many years; won many trophies with Manchester United and played at two of the biggest clubs in the world. I was successful at Real Madrid and I needed a new challenge - and I have enjoyed that challenge."

The 36-year-old admits a switch to another Premier League would be difficult.

"I have always said that Manchester United is my one love and to play for another Premiership team would be difficult for me," added Beckham.

"We are very happy in America as a family and we have been for the last five years, we love England and we miss it of course but as for myself playing back there? I don't know.

"Things change so quickly and right now I am playing for Galaxy. I will look at myself at the end of the season, see how my body feel sand if I feel good I will continue to play."
