LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham was happy to be back in action this week. Becks, who has been training with Tottenham, set up a goal in an LA Galaxy friendly, won by Mexican side Club Tijuana.

He said later: "It was my first game back, but I felt pretty good at times.

"Once that first game is out of the way, you can move on."
