David Beckham has gone back to the future by taking the No77 at Tottenham.
The LA Galaxy star wore No7 at Manchester United, where 'Brand Beckham' was established.
His move to Real Madrid forced a change, however, with Beckham switching to No 23, the number adorned by his hero Michael Jordan, and with the No 7 shirt occupied by Bernabeu hero Raul.
The midfielder proudly paraded his new shirt in Spain and he went on to keeping the squad number, even having it etched into his car seats, when he moved on to Los Angeles Galaxy.
But when he joined AC Milan on loan in for his first stint in Italy, he had to reverse his favoured number to 32 but still proved a popular choice with the supporters.
And on Tuesday it appeared he will have a new number to add to his collection, wearing a Tottenham Hotspur training hat with '77' printed on the front, beside to the club's emblem, and on his shorts.
