David Beckham expects AC Milan teammate Kaka to join Real Madrid in the summer. AS says Kaka consulted former Manchester United player Beckham while making a decision over whether to join Manchester City in a £100million record-breaking deal.

Beckham is said to have told a close friend: "Kaka wants to go to Madrid - not City. I think he is going to play in Madrid in June. I think someone called him and Kaka has no doubts. He wants to play in Madrid."

With Real calling elections for the summer, presidential hopeful Florentino Perez will sanction a £74m bid for Kaka with defender Sergio Ramos thrown into the deal if he gets into power.
