David Beckham hinted that he does not agree with a recent comment made by LA Galaxy owner Tim Leiweke.
The Anschutz Entertainment Group CEO suggested to the veteran midfielder that perhaps the Galaxy were suffering from the customary hangover that championship-winning teams often experience but Beckham does not feel that way after a slow start to the 2012 MLS season.
“Any team that has a slow start has a hangover. I said, ‘Personally, I’ve never had that in the past with teams I’ve played for.’ With us, we came back and weren’t focused, simply as that.”“Tim actually said that to me the other day,” Beckham said during 710 ESPN's Lunch with a Legend event.
The Galaxy have seemingly got things back on track after a disastrous beginning and now sit fifth on the Western Conference table after three successive wins.
