LA Galaxy star David Beckham was delighted to see former club Real Madrid defend their La Liga title this season.

The former Real midfielder was asked by Marca if he was aware the club had won the championship: "Of course, man! I am very happy for all my friends in Madrid. They dominated the Liga and won it clearly.

"Seeing Barcelona make a guard of honour at the Bernabeu must have been a strange sight!"
