AC Milan ace David Beckham will only play the second-half of the MLS season, it has been revealed. Corriere della Sera says it will be confirmed today that Beckham's loan from LA Galaxy will be extended until the end of the European season.
The England international will then return to Los Angeles for the final 13 games of the MLS season before paying £2 million to buyout the remainder of his Galaxy contract and returning to Milan in January.
After an intense 24 hours, with faxes going back and forth, Galaxy management appear to have accepted Milan's proposal.
The agreement should be announced today or Sunday.
