David Beckham is confident that former England teammate Steven Gerrard will bring plenty to Major League Soccer.
The Liverpool captain will make the move to Beckham's old club LA Galaxy in the summer and the two-time MLS Cup winner is backing one of the Premier League's best-ever players to make a huge impact in North America.
"Stevie is going to do great, he is without doubt one of the best midfielders that I have ever played with and I've been lucky enough to play with quite a few through the years," Beckham told Sky Sports.
"He is going to take professionalism, drive and players are going to look up to him."
Gerrard follows fellow Premier League stars Beckham and Thierry Henry to the USA and Canada's top flight where he will be joined by Chelsea great and current Manchester City midfielder Frank Lampard who will join expansion franchise New York City FC in July.
