David Beckham and the LA Galaxy have landed in New Zealand ahead of their exhibiton match in Auckland on Saturday night. The team and officials were greeted by a traditional Maori welcoming ceremony this morning.
Beckham and the Galaxy will play a match against an Oceania All-Stars side at Mt Smart Stadium this Saturday and will spend all week in Auckland preparing for the event.
Members of the opposing squad feature former Real Madrid and France star Christian Karembeu, Aussie goalkeeper Mark Bosnich and former Dutch international Edgar Davids.
32,000 fans are expected to flock to the ground to experience 'The Beautiful Game', which was a roaring success last year when the Galaxy played the Wellington Phoenix.
