David Beckham and the rest of the LA Galaxy squad could be making a quick stop past the Philippines on their way to Australia this December.
The MLS outfit have a friendly with Melbourne Victory set for December 6 but prior to that will undertake a promotional tour in Southeast Asia, particularly Indonesia and Singapore in late November.
Now the Philippines are hoping they can include them in the stopover and are trying to tee up a friendly with the national team for December 4.
Philippine Football Federation president Mariano 'Nonong' Araneta confirmed that talks were happening about a possible visit from the ex-Manchester United, Real Madrid and AC Milan star and his Galaxy teammates.
"We are going to talk about it and we will know by Thursday," said Araneta.
