The arrival next month of David Beckham and the recovery of injured stars should inspire AC Milan to keep fighting for the title according to Carlo Ancelotti.

Milan were without the injured Kaka, Mathieu Flamini, Gennaro Gattuso, Daniele Bonera, Marco Borriello and Alessandro Nesta for the clash against Juventus.

"I think there will certainly be a reaction from the team. We have one more game before the Christmas break and that time off will be very useful so we can get some injured players back and begin again, Ancelotti said.

"Beckham is a great talent and at this time he will be even more useful. He doesn't have Gattuso's characteristics, but can be an important addition for the midfield."
