David Beckham has admitted he would love to return to Manchester United in an official capacity once his playing days are over.
The LA Galaxy star is still deciding on what the next move in his playing career will be but told The Sun that he would love to one day fill the Old Trafford club's sporting director role, just like Zinedine Zidane has done at Real Madrid.
"I'd love to do that," he said.
"The best memory of my career came in 1999, no doubt, when Manchester United won the treble.
"I think it was such an achievement historically."
Beckham is in the last year of his MLS contract and is attracting interest from the likes of Tottenham, QPR, Leicester City and Paris Saint-Germain.
