Bayern Munich powerbroker Franz Beckenbauer is confident they won't lose Thomas Muller to Manchester United.

Muller is a leading target for new Old Trafford boss Louis Van Gaal.

But Beckenbauer told the Mail on Sunday: "My feeling is that Thomas is using the interest from United to strengthen his negotiating position with Bayern."
