Bayern Munich supremo Franz Beckenbauer is confident of success over Champions League rivals Juventus.

The German giants need a victory in Turin if they are to have any hope of progressing to the next round of the Champions League.

Beckenbauer said: "It will be hard work because of Juventus's advantageous position and also their strength at home.

"They are a concrete team, very physical and difficult to beat. You saw what happened against Inter, didn't you? And we need a win."
