Luciano Becchio has signed a new deal with Leeds United.
Leeds have completed a good day's work after striker Becchio has put pen to paper on a new three-and-a-half-year contract.
United had already had a productive day after two goals from Max Gradel earned them an impressive 2-0 win over Championship leaders QPR.
The Argentine striker, who has scored 47 goals in 126 appearances for the club, signed the deal in the wake of the win.
"I'm very happy to sign the contract and stay at the club," he told the club's official website. "I love the fans , we are doing well and we want to get to the Premier League. I want to be a part of that and I'm really pleased."
Boss Simon Grayson added: "He has shown his importance to the club with his goalscoring ability. It was vital that we secure his services after losing Jermaine Beckford last season."
