Bebe makes low-key Man Utd debut

Bebe made his debut for Manchester United reserves last night.

Sir Alex Ferguson, who signed Bebe without watching him play, didn't turn up to see him - which was just as well for the Portuguese, who put in an anonymous display against Aston Villa.

Bebe, whose last game was in Portugal's third division, started on the right wing.

He picked out Ravel Morrison with his first cross, but that was to prove the high point.

A switch to the left didn't help matters and Villa won 4-1.
