Bebe hopes his goal in Manchester United's 3-2 Carling Cup win against Wolves on Tuesday will persuade Sir Alex Ferguson to keep picking him.

The Portuguese's goal was his first since arriving in a shock deal in August.

Bebe, signed for £7.2million in the summer, said: "I'm very happy with my first goal, but I want more. I played very well and hope to continue this way. From now on Ferguson will have to count more on me."
