Tony Pulis has dismissed reports claiming Stoke and Wolves are in talks over the sale of striker James Beattie, reports The Sentinel. Beattie is widely known to be available at the right price and Wolves are believed to have considered a £3m move for the 31-year-old striker.
But Pulis said this afternoon there had been no contact yet between himself and Wolves boss Mick McCarthy, and nor, to his knowledge, between Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey and anyone at Stoke.
