Beasley struggling with Rangers language barrier

Beasley told the Sunday Mail: "When the gaffer puts me in he does it for a reason - to kill the game and stretch the defence.

"But I'm happy with how things are going.

"The hardest thing to adjust to is the language. Seriously. It's difficult for me.

"On Friday in training I didn't understand what Kenny was saying. I had to ask one of my team-mates what we were doing.

"I understood Ronaldinho better when I spoke to him at Ibrox! I speak a bit of Spanish so that was fine with him.

"But the football will take care of itself."
