Newcastle United academy chief Peter Beardsley is delighted with the support the youth system is receiving from owner Mike Ashley.
Beardsley is pleased with Rolando Aarons turning pro this week.
He said: "The owner is all for youngsters doing well and what he's doing at this football club at youth level is incredible, I genuinely mean that.
"Long term, it will be brilliant.
"Rolando has a lot of talent and now he's adding the work rate. He has a bright future and it's good news for us going forward."
