Bayern Munich wing ace Franck Ribery shutdown talk of a deadline day move to Real Madrid with four hours left on the clock last night.

Speaking to German evening television, Ribery insisted: "I've known for the past month I would stay. Can't you see that I'm happy here?"

On the arrival of Arjen Robben from Real Madrid, Ribery added: "He'll be a big help. I think we can form a great partnership in midfield."
