Bayern Munich are monitoring Manchester United's pursuit of Barcelona midfielder Thiago Alcantara.
Sport says United remain favourites to land the Spain U21 star, who is keen on the switch, but with nothing yet rubberstamped Bayern feel there remains an opening to tempt Thiago to Germany.
Bayern coach Pep Guardiola is a big fan of the young midfield schemer and would welcome his signing.
The former Barca boss has made it clear he won't raid his old club for new players, unless they are pushing to leave, as Thiago appears to be doing so.
"People have to know that Barca players are not leaving for money or desire. There are two possibilities: they dump you or you feel like you should be playing and Barcelona do not," remarked Guardiola.
