Bayern Munich are watching Tottenham star Hueng-min Son.

The Sun says Son has emerged as a transfer target for Bayern Munich after evading military service.

The South Korean ace, 26, impressed for Spurs after moving from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015.

Son came off the bench for the last 20 minutes of Spurs' 2-1 defeat to Liverpool on Saturday, but has had the start of his club season disrupted by the Asian Games, where South Korea won gold.

It meant he was exempted from military service with his home nation — in their long-running dispute with North Korea — as an athlete who wins an Olympic medal of any colour or Asian Games gold is excused.
