Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni has dropped a big hint he wants a move to Roma in January.
In conversation with Gazzetta dello Sport today, Toni launched a new attack on his Bayern coach Louis van Gaal.
"For four months I have had problems with him, all things have their limits. Our relationship is almost over," barked Toni.
"I'd like to return to Italy to score those goals that earned me a place in the national team. I remain the Azzurri attacker who has the most goals of all, the current leader in the list of strikers.
"In Roma with my friends?! With Francesco (Totti), I have a good relationship."
Indeed, Totti admitted calling Toni earlier this season about joining him at Roma.
