Released Bayern Munich striker Miroslav Klose is in Rome for talks with Lazio.

Lalaziosiamonoi.it says Klose and agent Alexander Schuett flew in to Rome last night for a meeting with President Claudio Lotito and director of sport Igli Tare.

It is believed he will sign a two-year contract worth €2m per season and will undergo a medical today.

That is going to be a very special day for the German international hitman, as it is his 33rd birthday.
