Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery says he wants to join either Real Madrid or Barcelona.

Despite interest from Chelsea and Manchester United, the Frenchman intends to continue his career in Spain.

Ribery said: "For me, (Lionel) Messi is now the best player in the world by far. However, I would like to play with Xavi. He is a very good footballer, he knows very well how to lead and organize his team and also is very accurate with his passing. Right now he is playing in a great way.

"Of course, there are clubs that I dream of, like Real Madrid and Barcelona."
