Manuel Neuer admits he is 'glad' that he is being linked with Manchester City.

The Bayern Munich goalkeeper has emerged as a reported target for City boss Pep Guardiola and although he is humbled by the speculation, he insists there has been no contact between he and his former boss.

"There was no contact and, as you know, I'm happy and satisfied here and I've just extended my contract, actually," said the Germany international ahead of Wednesday night's Champions League clash with Arsenal.

"I'm glad that there's speculation and talk about it.

"Pep still has my phone number but he hasn't called me, so everything is alright."
