Bayern Munich president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has ruled out any prospect of a return for Luca Toni.
Toni's loan at Roma is now unlikely to be made permanent, but Bayern insist he has no future with the Champions League finalists.
Rummenigge said: "I spoke with Toni's agent two weeks ago. Luca would like to stay in Italy. I told him that there would be no sense in coming back to Munich."
Napoli and West Ham United have been linked with the centre-forward.
